Ahavat Olam Synagogue welcomes everyone to join us online via Zoom in thoughtful, moving Kabbalat Shabbat evening prayers on April 23, 2021 at 7:30pm, mostly sung, much in Hebrew, some in English, some in the language of the heart and in the speech of the angels.

The weekly parshah (Torah portion) — a double portion this week — is Acharei Mot / Kedoshim (Leviticus 16:1-18:30, 19:1-20:27). We learn about how to live a life of holiness, at the core of which lies the central principle of Torah: Love your fellow humans as you love yourself.
