Services Participation
If you wish to participate and / or contribute to our High Holidays services, Ahavat Olam welcomes:
- Readers – for prose / poem readings on Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur
- Décor coordinator and volunteers – to decorate the space for our services
- Flowers or table décor for our days of scheduled services
- Apples, honey, and honey cake – contributors and volunteers to prepare these items for Rosh Hashana
- Challot or wine for Rosh Hashana and for the Yom Kippur break fast
- Rosh Hashana meal volunteers
- Donations – to offset our costs and to support Ahavat Olam progress forward
- Gifts of food and/or money destined for Project Isaiah, the Jewish Food Bank
