Ahavat Olam Synagogue welcomes everyone to join us in person, outdoors for thoughtful, moving Shabbat evening prayers on July 22, 2022 at 6:30pm, mostly sung, much in Hebrew, some in English, some in the language of the heart and in the speech of the angels. Details:
The weekly parshah (Torah portion) is Pinchas (Numbers 25:10-30:1). The Eternal gives Pinchas (or Phinehas) a covenant of peace, and explains the apportionment of the Land. The daughters of Zelophehad petition to inherit their father’s portion, and Moses appoints Joshua as his successor.
We’re deeply grateful to the wonderful folks at Copley for letting us meet there in their beautiful space. (If you don’t already know about this great project, please check out their web site: http://www.copleycommunityorchard.com
